HOW TO PLAY. Like all word searches, the goal of this free Bible Word Search is to find the words hidden in the puzzle. The words in this puzzle are all found in the Scripture, both Old Testament and New Testament.
Here are the words hidden in this puzzle:
Bethlehem - birthplace of Jesus
Church - the Christian Church
Deuteronomy - fifth book of the Old Testament
Eternal Life - the promise to Believers
Faith - required for Salvation
Galatians - a New Testament book containing the epistle to the Galatians from Saint Paul
Galilee - sea located in the Holy Land
Goliath - giant Philistine warrior slain by the future King David
Good Friday - the Friday before Easter Sunday
Grace - the state of sanctification by God
Last Supper - last meal of Jesus and the Disciples before the Crucifixion
Moses - the Hebrew prophet who led the Israelites from Egypt across the Red Sea during the Exodus
Parable - short moral story told by Jesus
Paul - known as Apostle Paul, one of the most influential early Christian missionaries
Psalms - an Old Testament book consisting of a collection of 150 poetic, religious songs
Redeem - deliver; save from sins
Sanctify - to sanction an action or practice as religiously binding
Serpent - physical form of Satan in the Garden of Eden
These words are also listed to the right of the word search. Look through the letters of the puzzle until you find a word, then cross the word out by dragging your mouse across the letters of the word in the puzzle.
This causes a blue line to be drawn through the word, and the word is removed from the Bible word list automatically.
If you get stuck and need a hint, click the "Hint" button. You can use this button only once.
Clicking this button causes the first letter of one of the words in the puzzle to flash repeatedly as your hint.
Words can be forwards, backwards, or at an angle in the puzzle. One trick for quickly finding words is to start with words that have a double letter.
For example, the word Galilee has a double "e" at the end. Similarly, the phrase Last Supper has a double "p".
The double letters are usually easy to spot in the puzzle. Check for those first to give yourself a head start.
I really enjoy word search puzzles. I hope you had fun with this free Bible Word Search!
