20 Free Large Print Word Searches for Adults and Seniors

I've created this collection of 20 free printable large print word searches for adults and seniors. It includes 15 new puzzles made specifically for this section and five large-print favorites from my other collections. The subjects range from everyday life, gardening, pets, and travel to music, classic cars, science, and holidays. Every puzzle has a separate answer key.

These puzzles are designed for adults who prefer larger, easier-to-read print, including seniors and activity-group users. The three easy large print word searches have 10 words in a 10x10 grid. The remaining puzzles have 12 words in a 12x12 grid, giving you a little more challenge while preserving the readable format.

To print or save a puzzle: Select its picture or title, then choose Print This Page. In your browser's print window, select your printer or choose a PDF option. Use the Solution link whenever you need the answer key.

You may print and copy these sheets for personal, classroom, church, company, memory-care, or activity-group use. Keep the copyright line in place and do not sell the puzzles.

How These Large Print Puzzles Work

Circle each hidden word in the grid, then cross it off the word list. Every word follows a straight horizontal or vertical line. There are no backward or diagonal words in this collection.

Multi-word entries appear with normal spacing in the printed word list, but the letters touch in the grid. For example, BLUE JAY appears as BLUEJAY in the puzzle.

Choosing the Right Puzzle

Start with Positive Words, Coffee and Tea, or Pets for the easiest format. The 12x12 puzzles provide a little more challenge while keeping the lettering large and the directions predictable. Adults of any age can choose whichever subject looks most enjoyable.
