Solve jigsaw puzzles from the comfort of your own desktop. Jigsaw boasts a host of features that make solving puzzles easy and enjoyable.

To begin, search the jigsaw puzzle collection using the search box, or scroll down the list of puzzles types.

To see the full list of categories, click the More... link in the search area. Jigsaw categories include: Animals, Architecture, Digital Art, Locations, Landscape, Food, Nature, Patterns, Paintings, Objects, and Vehicles.

After selecting a category, click the subcategory you're interested in. For instance, if you choose the Animals jigsaw category, this opens up Dinosaurs, Butterflies, Cats, Baby Animals, Eagles, Funny Animals, Hedgehogs, and many more.

Then, if you choose Dinosaurs, you'll see jigsaw puzzle pictures of different species of dinosaurs. For example, Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus, and so on.

Once you've selected an actual puzzle, choose the level of difficulty. This simply means choosing how many pieces are in the puzzle. It will be the same image, just more or fewer pieces.

As an example, for the Velociraptor jigsaw puzzle, you can choose Easy (16 pieces), Medium (49 pieces), or Hard (100 pieces).

Puzzle Controls. Within in each jigsaw puzzle, you have several options.

First, you can zoom in or out. Use the - / + slider to change the zoom level.

Next, you can select Lock View. Click the Lock button to enable this. Lock View holds the table still, and allows you to drag and select multiple pieces at once.

You can also choose Preview Image anytime you want. This shows you the completed picture, much the same as looking at the cover of the jigsaw puzzle box.

If you happen to enjoy tracking how long it takes you to solve a particular jigsaw puzzle, a convenient timer is provided at the top of the puzzle.

Click the Arrange button to sort the edge pieces into separate piles. This puts the edge pieces near each other so you can work on those first more easily.

Jigsaw puzzles train short-term memory, spatial orientation, and concentration. Play these games often to give your brain a boost!
