Smell like fish oil

I've been wanting to try the fish oil supplements, but my mom says I'll start to smell like fish whenever I sweat. Is that true?

Doug's Reply: In my experience, you will only smell like a fish if you spill the fish oil on yourself. :)

I have taken fish oil capsules and liquid for years, and no one has ever accused me of smelling like a fish. That may be an old wives tale.

Yes I certainly smell like fish when I sweat!

My wife started complaining about my smell when we ran. It all started when I began to take fish oil. It was awful and I had to stop taking it.
