How to Use It. To generate a list of words from a group of letters, first enter the letters in the "name" box. Then click the "Find Anagrams!" button.
The list of words then opens in a new window on a website called easypeasy.com. Scroll down the page to the "Part 1" section to see your list of words.
EXAMPLE: Suppose my letters are "SGARHTO". I type these letters into the "name" box, then click the "Find Anagrams!" button. In a few seconds, the following displays in a new window. (To see this section, you might need to scroll down the page a bit.)
The phrase "max size 5" at the top of the list means the longest words possible from the letters I entered are five-letter words. The list itself contains 50 words that can be made from my letters.
All I need to do now is look for words in my list that contain a letter that is currently playable on the Scrabble board. In other words, I pick a high value word from my list that I can find a spot for on the Scrabble board.
NOTE: Please do not use this tool to cheat. You don't want to be known as a cheater at Scrabble. Instead, use it to better understand how to make word combinations from your letters and to expand your vocabulary. You can also use this tool when playing Scrabble against the computer.
