Remembering technical articles

by Hemant
(India)

I find myself weak at reading technical articles. I start from first word, and at the middle of the sentence I forget the beginning. How to remove this flaw?

I've poor imagination, how to improve it... I miss the train of thoughts.

Thanks,
Hemant

Doug's Reply: I suggest you try a study method such as SQR3.

SQR3 stands for "Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review". These are the five steps to follow when reading something new. If you follow these five steps, you will remember the information much better.

Here is a website that explains how to use SQR3:

Give it a try. I think it will help!
