Problem remembering colours

I have a good brain but I have problems with coulours. I hate coulours so much because I am all time forgetting the name of the coulour and names of actors and songs. But when I speak with someone I can't forget any word or forget what he was wearing or his name.
I want advice on how I can improve my memory with coulours. I have tried with some games to see coulours but they give me a headache.
Really this is a very useful website. Thank you very much.
I was looking for a website like this.
Thanks for your time,
Mohamed
Doug's Reply: Have you tried flash cards? A flash card is a small piece of paper with a question on one side and the answer on the other side.
You use the flash card to test your memory. First you look at the question side of the card, then you think of the answer. You turn the card over to see the answer side to make sure you got it right.
You could make a few flash cards with a colour on one side and the name of the colour on the other side. Then, to test your memory look at each flash card one after the other. Try to remember the name of the colour. If you can't remember the name, look on the back of the card.
Practice with the cards a few minutes each day, and I think you will put the names of the colours into your long-term memory for good.
