Medical school reading

Thanks a lot for providing a platform like this help a million people with memory challenges. I would like to know how to better my memory when I read volumes daily as a medical student. Thanks
Doug's Reply: There are two things I would suggest initially:
1). Use the SQR3 method when reading. This stands for Survey-Question-Read-Recite-Review. Here is a page that explains it:

2). Learn and practice the visualization and association memory technique, and other memory techniques. My site explains these in detail.

The SQR3 method helps you build and strengthen the framework for what you want to remember. The memory techniques help you memorize the individual facts.
Any questions, let me know.
Best regards,
Douglas
