Play Game (Opens Game in New Window)

Help your robot through the 3D maze! Gateway is a puzzle game that trains logical reasoning. Use the objects that you find to help your robot find its way out of each room.

To begin, click the game or the "Play Game" link underneath the game. This opens the game in a resizeable window.

Wait for the game to load, then click the "NEW GAME" button on the right side of the screen.

If you previously saved a game, click the "LOAD GAME" button to load that session. You can turn off the sound, the instructions, and other options by clicking the "OPTIONS" button.

HOW TO PLAY.  This game is controlled entirely with the mouse.

To move around, click the ground where you want the robot to go. The small footprints indicate where you can and cannot go.

The robot cannot find his own way around. If obstacles should appear between him and his destination, you need to help him navigate around them.

Objects that you can interact with are highlighted when you move the mouse pointer over them. If you click on the object, you will perform the action indicated at the bottom of the screen. (For example, pushing a button on the wall.)

Certain items can be picked up, such as a set of stairs or a remote control. To pick up the item, click it with the mouse.

When an item is in your inventory, you can examine the item by clicking on it. You use the item by dragging it with the mouse to the location where you want it to go.

Items in your inventory can also be combined. For example, you can insert batteries into a remote control. To combine two objects, drag one over the other.

Other Options  There are a few more options available by clicking the circle buttons on the upper right corner of the game.

  • S Button - Click this button to save your session so you can return to the same room later.
  • L Button - Click this button to load a previously saved session.
  • E Button - Click this button to exit the game

Enjoy!!
