The Equator is a math puzzle game that trains numerical skills and concentration skills. To begin, click the game or the "Play Game" link underneath the game. This opens the game in a resizeable window.
Wait for the game to load, then click the "Play Game" button in the middle of the game screen. The instructions display first. If you want to skip the instructions, click the "Skip" button.
HOW TO PLAY. Your objective in this game is to make simple mathematical equations. To begin, select three number tiles in the puzzle window.
The first two numbers are either added, subtracted, multiplied, or divided. Select a third number that is the answer to the two previous numbers. All numbers need to be next to one another.
For example, select the numbers "2" and "4" which are next to each other. Then select the answer "8" which is next to one of those numbers.
The game will automatically place a multiplication sign in-between, giving the equation: 2 x 4 = 8.
Other Rules. If you make equations within 5 seconds, you get bonus points. The bonus starts at 2x normal score and increases every time you answer within 5 seconds.
Use the "Lightning" power up button to change the numbers on the tiles. Use the "Black Circle" (bomb) button to blow up lots of tiles all at once.
Click the "Shuffle" button up to three times if you want to shuffle the numbers around.
