Quick Memory Tips
#1) Keep a Daily Journal
Do you have trouble remembering events from your past? If so, your "episodic memory" may be weaker than average. Episodic memory is the ability to remember experiences that have happened during your life. An effective way to preserve these memories is to write them in a personal journal. I've kept a journal for fifteen years, and I highly recommend it.

#2) Meditate Every Day
If you've ever watched someone meditate, you might be tempted to conclude that they aren't really doing anything. Far from it, according to research. Studies show that regular meditation actually increases the thickness of your brain's cortex. Those who practice meditation claim it increases attention span and concentration. So if you want a more powerful brain, make meditation a regular habit.

#3) Exercise Aerobically
Intense aerobic exercise, when performed regularly, grows new brain cells (neurons) in the memory centers of the brain. That is one surprising finding of recent brain research. To improve your memory by literally changing your brain, start exercising aerobically several times a week.
