Take Naps for Better Recall

Naps are not just for kids. If you are lucky enough to have a few minutes of free time during the afternoon, consider taking a nap to supplement the sleep you may be missing at night.

According to an article at SmartSet.com:

"The body is on a basically 24-hour body clock that winds down once in the afternoon and once in at night.... A daytime nap can boost learning and memory by helping us tune-out interfering information."

All you need is about 20 minutes of quiet rest to be refreshed and more alert for the remainder of the day. So if you can fit a nap into your schedule, give it a try!
